Our Community 2017-05-22T14:48:39-04:00

Our Community

Is NOT simply a tag line.
It is who we are, what we believe and how we live and work daily.

One component of our value system is “C” and our relationship with our Community. We believe life happens beyond the walls of our clinics and choose to actively partner with schools, businesses, law enforcement, local government and all groups that support the South Riding, Stone Ridge and surrounding communities in which we live, work and play.

Chiron Physical Therapy of South Riding is:

– Committed to restoring your physical health.
– Committed to supporting the overall health of our community.

Want to include Chiron in your next community event?

If you would like to include the Chiron family in your next event or fundraising activity, please forward via fax or mail your sponsorship request form. If you do not have a specific form, please forward a letter outlining the activity, the goal of your event, who your event supports, your specific needs (how we can potentially help) and any deadline for response.

While we cannot promise that will be able to participate in all events, we do promise that we will review your request timely to determine what, if any, level we can join you in achieving your goal.

Chiron Physical Therapy proudly supports the South Riding Stone Ridge Chapter of Moms Run This Town (SRMRTT) and their efforts to stay healthy and strong for their runs and walks.

SRMRTT is a free club that offers an opportunity for moms to get together and help motivate each other to reach their fitness goals. SRMRTT also provides an online community where group members can help answer fitness-related questions, encourage each other, train with each other and share their personal running (or walking!) experiences.

Women of ANY skill level are welcome as they don’t claim to be the ‘fastest’ group of moms – just the ‘friendliest’. Whether you are a walker hoping to start training for your first 5k or an experienced runner training for a marathon – SRMRTT would love to have you as part of this community.

Chiron Physical Therapy of VA is pleased to announce our partnership with the Loudoun First Responders Foundation.

Built on old school values and treating people like family, Chiron’s commitment to making people feel better extends beyond our clinic walls and into supporting organizations making a difference in the lives in the communities in which we live, work and play. The Loudoun First Responders Foundation (LFRF) is such an organization.

The LFRF mission is to financially support any individual Loudoun County First Responder (and their family) facing needs arising from injury, illness and conditions incurred in the line of duty. In addition, LFRF awards scholarships to the children of First Responders based on their accomplishments.

Who are First Responders? These are the men and women of our Law Enforcement, Fire and Rescue Services and other public service departments who willingly sacrifice and serve Loudoun County. The men and women we hope we never to need to employ the services of but whom we are extremely grateful to see when the need arises. The men and women who are quick to respond, professionally and expertly tend to their duties and compassionately address the needs of those who call upon them.

Supporting First Responders is deeply personal for our two owners as members of their families combined for over 150 years of service between the NYPD and local volunteer fire services. The Chiron family as a whole is proud to support this non-profit foundation and proud to support the men and women whose jobs enable all of us to live, work and play freely and safely.

Chiron and LFRF … working together to do extraordinary things for those who serve others.

Chiron Physical Therapy is jumping into the South Riding pools this year and swimming with the Stingrays, a non-profit organization exclusively devoted to the promotion of swimming enjoyment for children of the South Riding community.

Officially known as the South Riding Swim Team (SRST) but affectionately known as the Stingrays, the team is a member of the Colonial Swimming League (CSL), which was founded in 1962 to sponsor competitive swimming among community swimming organizations in Northern Virginia. The primary objectives of the league are:

  • To foster a high level of competition between the teams
  • To develop the potential of individual swimmers
  • To single out for distinction individual swimmers, age groups and teams

The team is also a member of the Old Dominion Swim League (ODSL), a swim league founded in 2004 to provide developmental competitive style swim competition between communities in the greater Loudoun County area.

The South Riding Swim Teams seek to promote the recognition of swimming as a life-long activity, which can contribute significantly to the physical and emotional growth and development of swim team members through healthful exercise and good competition. Chiron Physical Therapy of South Riding is pleased to announce our partnership with the Aldie Senators for the upcoming summer baseball season.

The Aldie Senators are members of the Valley Baseball League, an NCAA sanctioned collegiate summer baseball league whose motto is “gateway to the majors.” The league started in 1923 and has produced well over 1000 professional baseball players. Last year 27 Valley League alumni played in the major leagues.

As the official physical therapy providers for the Senators, we encourage you to support the team. The Aldie Senators are a not for profit organization who spends a portion of their budget giving back to our local schools, little leagues and other community organizations. So supporting the Senators is not just about supporting the major league dreams of young men. Supporting the Senators is about supporting various youth groups in our community.

The Senators play their home games at John Champe High School located at 41535 Sacred Mountain Street in Aldie. The 44 game season kicks off the last weekend in May. A night at the ball park is a low cost, fun way to see good baseball, potential future MLB players and most importantly support our community.

Chiron Physical Therapy of South Riding … proud to be part of Nator Nation.
