WHAT TO EXPECT ON YOUR FIRST CALL /
BEFORE YOUR FIRST APPOINTMENT

We are going to spend a few minutes on the phone…
  • Gathering your insurance information … remember we don’t believe in financial surprises so we take your insurance information and look into your specific plan to determine what if any financial responsibility you may have
  • Getting to know you and find out why you need to play with us / need our services
  • Set up an appointment at a time that works for your schedule … we offer a variety of options throughout the week and will seek to get you in as soon as possible to get you started on your road to recovery
We will send you a follow-up email within 24 hours of your initial call which will…
  • Confirm your time
  • Remind you to bring photo id, your insurance card(s) and dress comfortably for your appointment because our therapists will evaluate AND start treatment at your first visit
  • Provide some paperwork you can complete at your leisure and bring with you to your appointment

It’s time for your visit with us and your recovery to begin!

WHAT TO EXPECT AT YOUR FIRST APPOINTMENT

  • Welcome you to the family
  • Collect your paperwork or give you to complete
  • Make copies of your IDs
  • Alert the physical therapists you are ready
  • Your medical history will be reviewed.
  • Open conversation will be had regarding what brings you to us — make sure to share your goals, share your frustrations, share what you are feeling, and ask questions.
  • An assessment of your range of motion, strength, etc. will be conducted.
  • Treatment will begin — we believe in beginning treatment, starting the process of getting you some relief vs. simply telling you what is wrong and what we will do next time. You may not get a full treatment but treatment will begin.
  • Review your insurance benefits and address any financial or benefit questions you have.
  • Review what your therapist recommended for moving forward.
  • We encourage you to schedule 12 to 15 appointments or the equivalent of 4 to 6 weeks to ensure YOU GET THE TIMES THAT WORK BEST FOR YOU, around your busy schedule.
    • REMEMBER: What studies show regarding factors contributing to optimal healing and what YOU control!
    • REMEMBER: We have a very flexible cancellation policy (including no cancellation fee)!
  • Our therapist will write up their findings and treatment plan and share it with:
    • Your physician of record
    • The rest of our team so everyone is ready to help at your next visit and you don’t need to repeat your story
