Top 3 Comments…Addressed

April 9th, 2020

Earlier this week, we connected with you on two different topics. One was to check on you and the other expressed our gratitude to the mental health community, doctors and nurses, first responders and support personnel in hospitals / medical facilities for the incredible work they are doing right now as our communities continue to fight COVID-19.

Both of those topics sparked great conversations on the phone, via email and yes in person with those who have continued to seek treatment in the clinic. Before we head into the weekend, we wanted to take a moment and address the top 3 comments / questions that resulted from the conversations:

Are you planning on closing? / How long will you remain open during the “lock-down”?

The Department of Homeland Security has deemed physical therapists as essential critical infrastructure workforce as community based physical therapists assist in keeping people healthy. With that, Chiron Physical Therapy remains opento serve you, your family and our community.

On March 16th, the President issued a Coronavirus Guidance for America in which it is stated: “If you work in a critical infrastructure industry, as defined by the Department of Homeland Security, such as healthcare services and pharmaceutical and food supply, you have a special responsibility to maintain your normal work schedule.” Your Chiron family takes this responsibility seriously. We are here, we are healthy, we are taking precautions to insure our personal health and we remain ready to serve you and address your physical issues.

We’re following government mandates for proper interaction and have made temporary changes in our schedule that not only meet but exceed CDC recommendations for the number of people gathering in one location at a time. Call us and let’s work together to get you better.

Are You Offering Telehealth?

Over the past few weeks, the idea of telehealth has been “trending” sparking a variety of conversations regarding the pros and cons of utilizing. For some industries, telehealth makes perfect sense and we respect the decision of any healthcare provider to do e-visits. But that is not us. That is not who we are or how we believe we fulfill our promise and our commitment to you.

We have built our relationship with you on personal interaction and our ability to detect the “little things” as we watch your form while you’re doing your exercises or find when we put our hands on you. It is those “little things” that make a big difference in your outcomes and we do not want to sacrifice that.

We invite you to consider coming in for one session. We will address your existing issue or the new one that has developed, provide you with exercises you can be doing at home and give you a FREE laser treatment during the session to help accelerate pain relief, reduce swelling and enhance the healing process. We understand you may not be ready to commit to a full course of treatment but let’s work together to jump start the recovery process today.

Your support has been overwhelming. We appreciate you, your kind words toward us and your continued support of us. We love this community we have the honor of serving. You and our neighbors of South Riding, Stone Ridge and Loudoun County are our family. We are committed to you! We are committed to living out our PERFECT PT promise. And we will be here for you through this and after this.

As we head into the weekend …

For our Jewish friends … Chag Sameach!

For our Christian friends … Happy Easter!

For all of our friends . . . Stay safe, stay strong and remember hope, love, kindness, empathy, grace wins every time!!! We will get through this together as a community, as a county and as a country.
