Student Educational Experiences
As part of our commitment to making people feel better and to making a difference in the lives of those around us, Chiron Physical Therapy strongly values education. We educate individuals on their condition including how we intend to treat them and the steps they can take to prevent a reoccurrence in the future. We support various education endeavors in the Dulles South school area including participating in middle school STEAM events, job for a day, guest speaking in schools, providing scholarships and hosting Open Houses. And we offer educational opportunities for those seeking to gain a deeper understanding of the physical therapy field.

Physical Therapy School – Preparation
It is important an individual gains an understanding of the physical therapy field through experiences gained via volunteering or student experiences. Like many graduate and professional programs, physical therapy school programs are highly competitive and prefer to admit applicants who are well-rounded and have a clear firm commitment to their goals. In addition, many programs require applicants to have a certain number of volunteer hours in the physical therapy setting. This experience often plays an important factor in the admissions process.
If you are considering pursuing physical therapy as your profession and/or applying for a physical therapy program and would like to gain exposure to help identify what skills, values and interests you enjoy in the field, we invite you to complete the form below for consideration of completing your experience with Chiron Physical Therapy.
Physical Therapy School – Clinical Education
Clinical education is an integral part of the academic curriculum associated with completing a degree in the physical therapy field. Students in PT and PTA programs are required to complete clinical internships / clinical experiences throughout the course of their studies as these experiences provide the opportunity for students to apply their knowledge and practice skills learned under the supervision of experienced physical therapists.
If you are in an accredited physical therapy program and are seeking to develop increased competence with clinical decision making and direct patient care with a varied patient population we invite you to complete the form below for consideration of completing your clinical experience with Chiron Physical Therapy.
