(MS, LAT, ATC)

It was her desire to help patients work towards becoming self-sufficient and feel empowered in their health story that brought Emily to the physical rehabilitation field. Emily graduated from Appalachian State University with a Bachelor in Athletic Training in 2021. After officially becoming a certified Athletic Trainer that same year, she continued her education obtaining a Master’s in Human Performance and Wellness from Barry University in 2023.

During her time in graduate school, Emily worked as a Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer alongside student-athletes. Emily’s heart for helping athletes return to sport and non-athletes return to the activities they love without restrictions is just the beginning. It’s her desire to help educate patients that is the driving force behind why she does what she does. Her hope is that through her work she can help patients gain the knowledge they need to not only understand the rehabilitation process better but make the best decisions for them when it comes to their overall health and wellness.

A native Floridian, Emily recently moved to the Northern Virginia area with her boyfriend and dog Renly. Accordingly, she roots for the Miami Dolphins and Miami Marlins. In her free time, she enjoys trying out local coffee shops, hiking with her dog, and adding to her collection of Bob Ross items.
